Can Signers Upload Images?

Cary Mar 15, 2016 08:50PM CDT

I have an application that I'd like users to be able to fill out online using DocHub, but part of the process needs to be submitting pictures or attachments as supplemental docs for us to review before approving their application. Is this possible?

Yes, for pictures. What other file types are you needing?

For photos, you’ll just want to check a box in the Send Sign Request window to give any of the signers editing privileges and make sure there is an area on your document for them to insert an image using the Insert Image tool in DocHub. You’ll see a “Can Annotate” column with an icon at the top that looks like a pen on paper and checking that box next to any of the signers will allow them to edit, and when they open the sign request, they’ll be able to use the Tool Bar which includes an Insert Image Tool. They can also resize the image Here’s an article that explains each tool:

What type of PDF edits can I make?

If there isn’t a place on your application to insert an image, you could add a blank page to the bottom of it and use the Text Tool to insert instructions for what they are supposed to insert there.
