Editing names in fields

Marissa P Apr 06, 2016 11:53AM CDT

Is there a way to change one name on a document so it is different than the rest on the document without changing every name on the document? For example, using "James Smith" throughout the document and changing one name box to "James D. Smith" without having the whole document change "James Smith" to "James D. Smith".

By name box, do you mean a signature field? Or, a text field? If you mean signature fields, you can have multiple signatures saved to a DocHub account, so you can have one as first+last and another with the middle initials.

If you mean for assigning a Role or People to it, you would need to create a role each of the different name formats.
