Email Templates

Would it be possible to change the HTML template of the email that is sent to people when requesting them to sign a document? The email that goes out looks like a marketing email, and recipients frequently ignore it, delete it, or report it as spam before they get a chance to read it.

Since the goal is to get them to sign the document, I'm wondering how hard it would be to make the email look like a normal text email (or much less like marketing spam)?

The DocHub logo could still appear at the bottom of the email, but could we somehow make the email less about DocHub branding and more about the desired action we want someone to take?

You can adjust the text that is in the Subject and Body of a Sign Request notification email in the window before sending a Sign Request, but it’s not yet possible to adjust the HTML and format of the email body at the moment. Just the content / wording, and as of now, you must edit the default Subject and Body each time you send a Sign Request in the send window. The only part of the body that you can save permanently as a custom setting is the footer aka signature of the email which can be customized in your “DocHub Email Settings”https://dochub.com/settings/email.

We plan to allow for more customization of the email body of your DocHub notification emails at some point and also allow you to do custom branding with DocHub Pro for Business though I don’t have any specific ETA on when personal branding will be available in DocHub.
